Me and my partner made the tough decision to put our little budgie to sleep on Monday 27th October. The vet showed great professionalism and empathy throughout and allowed us to share the last few moments of her little life in private. I received a sympathy card along with flower seeds from Vets for Pets Sutton in Ashfield. This small, yet beautiful gesture touched both our hearts and we will be forever grateful. Thank you to all the team.

Took a swan to this practice this morning after it was injured in a dog attack. The ladies were lovely - receptionist, nurses and the vet were so kind, cleaned and treated his injuries then arranged a place for him at a wildlife sanctuary. They could not have done more. Many thanks to this great practice

Gave up on this vets in the end. It's hard to get anyone on the phone and then they rush you and talk over you so important info was missed that ended up costing me extra. Worst of all is that one of the vets might actually be nuts. Took my male cat in a pink carrier (It matches my vibe) and she checked he was male and told me she thought I bet he would prefer a blue carrier... lady... cats can't see colour the way we do! What do you mean he would prefer blue ... he can't see it 🤣 Immediately realised I wasn't coming back at this point. So weird.

Milo loves going to the vets since his very 1st visit as a puppy but unfortunately this time we took Milo with a injured left hind leg as he couldn't weight bare and he needed xrays and medication, all the people that work at Vets for Pets are really friendly ,caring, helpful and really understanding when you're stressed out, tired and worried as our visit today was amazing as he would have had plenty of cuddles and attention as I know they would have looked after Milo like it was one of their pets. They care about the pets and fawn over the pets when they are in. We know Milo was given so much love and attention today during treatment.😊🐾🐾

Called them, told them what was wrong, said I had to pay 30 quid for a blood test before they would let her in the door, because she was a rescue. Was told would be 20 minutes once the bloods were taken, before we could go in the building, if results were good. We were outside in 25 degree heat, for over an hour before the vet called us in. Told the vet the issues shown h videos, all he did was repeat 7 times the clinically she's fine, that he could offer a behavior therapist for her wanting to eat all the time. She has onset dementia and her eating wasn't the only behaviour difference, she's been unresponsive, snarled and gone for my wife, sometimes petrified of water when she spent the first 7 years living in it. And she's suddenly become terrified of the vets, where before she didn't care, she's had no bad experience going to one. He ignored all this. Went to pay for the bloods and got told I'd also be paying 52 quid for a vet that doesn't listen. So 83 quid to help my dog, and not better off.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Care for My Cat – Molly Is a Star! I can’t thank the team at Vets4Pets Sutton-in-Ashfield enough for the outstanding care they gave to my cat. From the moment we arrived, everyone was welcoming and reassuring — exactly what you need when your pet is feeling under the weather. A special thank you goes to Molly, who was absolutely brilliant with my cat. She was gentle, patient, and clearly has a natural way with animals. Molly took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure both my cat and I felt calm and supported throughout the visit. It’s clear that this practice truly cares about the animals they treat. The clinic is clean, well-organised, and the whole team is incredibly professional and kind. If you’re looking for a vet who treats your pet like their own, I wholeheartedly recommend Vets4Pets in Sutton — and especially Molly. My cat came away purring and happy, and I left feeling totally reassured.
