#2 Vet in Sutton-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire
Shannon Lodge Veterinary Surgery is a small-animal practice established in 1999, set up for routine care and procedures (including dentistry and surgery) with in-house diagnostics (lab tests, X‑ray and ultrasound). The clinic is an RCVS General Practice and is listed as a Cat Friendly Clinic (Silver), and it’s also a veterinary nurse training facility. In the latest reviews available to us, owners mention rabbits being seen quickly when unwell (within an hour in one case), dental work carried out in-practice, and clear explanations during difficult decisions; there’s also a conflicting note on pricing, with one reviewer unhappy about the quoted cost of an annual booster.

Excellent service from Claire recently. Very professional, friendly and thorough. Addressed our concerns perfectly. Would definitely recommend this practice and vet. Thanks to the whole team.

Hugo needed dental work, all the staff seemed to go over and above for him, I suspect they are like that with everyone but still made us feel special. Claire, the vet who carried out the procedure was so helpful

I have used this vets for years. Rang to book my dogs annual booster to be told it would be £80.60. my dog is only small. I'm sorry but I am finding a new vets now and have already been told £45 and £50 which is a saving of £30 - £35. Pure greed really.

Thank you so very much to Shannon Lodge for getting us in quickly during a sad time. Our rabbit took poorly, we rang Shannon Lodge and they saw her within the hour. Unfortunately she passed away, but we were well informed throughout the whole process and today we received a thoughtful sympathy card. Thank you from The White family.

I've been using Shannon Lodge for a few years now and they have consistently provided excellent service. Whether routine appointments or even emergency situations. A special thanks to Radu, who has been great with all four of our Rabbits, especially Ruby who has suffered from repeat gut stasis.

Always get a quick appointment which is important. Very covid safe would highly recommend. Staff are all very nice and have time to explain things. Trust them completely with my fur babies. Xx
