We took our bull terrier to be put to sleep the vet and rest of the staff were absolutely excellent and very caring and could not do enough for us on this very sad day.

RUDE beyond belief practice manager. I made an appointment for new pup to have first vaccination and older dog to register as have just moved to Shirebrook. She called me 2 hours before my appointment to cancel on the basis that old vet hasn't sent the medical records from my older dog. I told her this is because I need to call them to authorise and she said it didn't matter it 'raises alarm bells' so rudely cancelled regardless. Old vet sent records 2 minutes later, no matter the won't see me!! I am beyond upset. They implied I don't pay my vet bills when it was just because I moved and needed to authorise for data protection. I have never been so insulted in. my entire life. How dare this woman speak to me this way! SO SO ANGRY. AVOID

Rude receptionist, talked over me, bus was late so couldn't make my original appointment, wanted to charge £20 per cat ( I have 3) for a prescription ( the paperwork, not the actual medication) to get ONE pipette of flea stuff for ONE month, removed from vets for cancellation of 1 appointment, would have cost me over £100 for 3 flipping pipettes of flea treatment for one month, so would cost me over £100 per month.. absolute RIP OFF

They were great when I took my pet cat in. They were really understanding and patient, even when he was naughty and cheeky. Definitely would recommend them. They were lovely and really understanding.

Amazing Vets practice!! Compassionate, kind and very supportive. Sadly had to say goodbye to our beautiful whippet, but she received the best care right to the end. Many thanks to all the staff

I’d definitely recommend Shirebrook vets as they helped us to put our cat Loki down last minute when she was quite poorly and the staff were so lovely towards us. I didn’t get the vet’s name who helped us with Loki but we couldn’t thank him enough for what he did. It was such a difficult time for us and we loved the card that they sent us that had our cats paw prints on. The kindness that Shirebrook vets showed us was amazing so we will recommend this vets to our friends & family. Thank you so much. ♥️🐾
